Andrew Parsonage

Andrew Parsonage is Jarden’s Head of Debt Capital Markets and Debt Advisory business, and also covers the forestry, energy and infrastructure sectors.
With almost 20 years’ experience in investment banking, Andrew has significant expertise in mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, equity raising and financing across a range of sectors.
He was a key member of Jarden’s team on the Government's mixed ownership model programme, including advising on scoping the Meridian IPO and executing the IPOs of Mercury Energy and Genesis Energy. He has completed more than 30 debt and convertible note transactions and has advised on many of New Zealand’s largest forestry transactions.
Andrew enjoys the daily challenge of delivering excellent outcomes for clients - whether he is pricing and structuring a financing transaction, digging into what really drives the value of a business, or working out how to position an investment opportunity to be attractive to buyers.
Andrew has a BMS (First Class Honours) and MMS (Applied Economics & Finance, with Distinction) from the University of Waikato. He’s a keen footballer, runner and traveller.
