With over 20 years’ financial markets experience in New Zealand and the UK, Greg has experienced several market cycles and key events. He remains fascinated by the constant flow of news and how the evolution of ideas, events and companies impact market returns. Greg enjoys sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with his clients, while helping them to manage their risk and achieve their financial goals over time.
Prior to taking up his current role, Greg was an equities analyst at Jarden, covering a range of New Zealand market sectors including telecommunications, media, electricity, industrials, technology, healthcare, growth and small cap companies. He previously worked in a variety of equity analyst, fund manager and corporate finance roles with Forsyth Barr, Old Mutual Securities (UK), ABN AMBRO (UK), KMPG and BNZ.
Greg has a BCA (Hons) from Victoria University of Wellington (Hons). He is a CFA® Charterholder and a Chartered Accountant. He is a past Chair of Silverstream School Board of Trustees and a former coach for Upper Hutt City Football. When he’s not busy with his four children’s sporting activities, he enjoys golf, skiing, keeping fit and supporting the Wellington Hurricanes.
