Hunter is passionate about working with clients to understand their investment needs and motivations. He builds on clients’ existing successes by designing tailored investment solutions that help them achieve their financial and lifestyle goals. Placing importance on excellent communication, Hunter is known for clearly explaining complex issues in an understandable way - he is focused on ensuring his clients are informed and comfortable with their investments.
Before joining Jarden, Hunter was an Executive Wealth Manager at ASB, working with the bank’s commercial, corporate, and private bankers - providing financial and investment advice to some of ASB’s largest clients. Prior to this, he was a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) which he joined as a graduate in 2004. During his time with the firm, he spent three years overseas in PwC’s International Tax team in Dubai, and the firm’s Banking and Capital Markets team in London, with a particular focus on structuring alternative investment funds.
A born and raised Wellingtonian, Hunter has an LLB and BCA from Victoria University. He lives in Auckland with his family and much of his time outside work is spent running after his two kids. But, when time and children permit, Hunter enjoys escaping to Lake Taupo with the family.
